Description
This creamy Dr Pepper Ice Cream is a nostalgic soda-inspired treat made with just 4 ingredients. Perfect for summer or any time you’re craving a fizzy dessert twist.
Ingredients
1½ cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
½ cup Dr Pepper syrup drink mix
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, Dr Pepper syrup, and salt until fully combined.
2. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes).
3. Once the mixture reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.
4. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to firm up.
5. Serve with optional toppings like whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, or maraschino cherries.
Notes
You can substitute with a sugar-free Dr Pepper syrup to reduce sugar content.
For extra flavor, mix in crushed cherries or vanilla extract before churning.
Don’t have an ice cream maker? Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe dish, stir every 30–45 minutes until frozen.
